The DC Government is moving very quickly in another attempt to develop McMillan Park with a combination of large commercial buildings and townhouses which would destroy about 90% of the site’s historic structures and result in a “Tyson’s Corner style mixed-use development.”

We need your help to stop the city from moving forward on their current plan. Instead, we ask that the city work with the neighborhood to find alternatives that preserve the site’s integrity and abundant green space, and which adaptively reuse its historic resources.
